Purchasing coordinator is responsible for routine and impromptu purchases made by our company from its affiliated vendors. This includes the duties of preparing and processing purchase orders, purchase requests, packing slips and keeping records of purchases and keeping vendor information up to date.
The purchasing coordinator will facilitate the acquisition of approved customer parts, equipment, supplies and ensures that vital inventory is kept in stock. Once an order is placed with a vendor, the purchasing coordinator will confirm eta of the desired items and ensure that the purchase is properly documented and recorded. The purchasing coordinator will guarantee that materials, supplies, and equipment orders are placed in a timely fashion.
The job requires communicating with our sales department representatives, customers and providing status of orders and assisting with any necessary returns.
The purchasing coordinator will work closely with the accounting department to prepare invoices and set up accounts with new vendors and will be the point of contact within the company for customer and vendor inquiries or issues.

- Sage Accounting System a PLUS
- Quickbooks Experience Required
